Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances into the environment.
There are many different types of pollution. Pollution can effect the air, water or land, depending on what type of harmful substance is being let into the environment. Factories and cars cause air pollution. Dumping of liquids and oil spills cause water and land pollution. Pollution can damage the environment permanently and can sicken or kill animals and plants.

We can take note of what we do and how it effects the environment.
